Not much working for me - Aerospace/defense stocks on a rise - Recently bought ITA, CON -still holding LMT - also picked up HPY and PAYX - nice steady growers - avoiding energy with DTO

DTO continues to work for me - and this week I shorted ny horse race pick IEZ. The question is - will there be a Santa Claus rally caused by re-buying of stocks sold for tax losses 30 days ago. I continue to own a number of muni-bond funds

DTO hit a stop at 215 but I may buy it back - the stock hi 250 in October 2008 - shorting energy continues to work -I am short IEO, IEZ snd WMB. I still hold airlines, biotech and retail a9in all of which I am taking a thrashing) -

DTO hit 249.5 today - having the inclination to short it from here. I think a 2 year bear market is as likely aa not. I am holding BIS, SMN SKF ERY - all short ETFs

Buying technology, (IGN) holding materials (XME) and railroads (UNP GWR KSU ) - - - bought some HEWJ - (they have to be able to make a dime with negative interest rates). Keeping powder dry during earnings report time

Retail took a big jump today thanks to Macy's Kohl's and Alibaba. I took a small position in RETL - in addition to owning SHLD, BABA and AMZN - I sense a certain 'hunger" on the part of the consumer - Precious metals, tech, real estate remain positive sectors (NUGT up 941% YTD at today's (8/10) opening )

I finally made a buck on ACIA short from several weeks ago. And miracle of miracles I finally made a buck in Finisar FNSR which Crammer recommended in 2008 only took 8 years Thanks Jim
