Results at the Tuesday Close: TSLA higher on a gap open, AAPL slipped a bit, and EXAS improved The Horse Race 1-14-20 SD 'S TSLA +8.66%, (sold 2/3) IRA -AAPL + 0.3% SPIDERMAN EXAS- 2.31
I sold 2/3 of TSLA at the open today with a limit order $544.00 set Monday pm. - sold $544,42 at the open minutes, raising the trailing stop 1/3 to $520.00. After considering the momentum and gap open- This looked to be timely . While it had momentum- I set a revised limit order on another decent move higher - which occurred with the gap open today.
The Charts:https://www.stockcharts.com/public/1675108-
With the Tech sector stalling today- hmmm- My recent tech positions this past week turning down- IBB up- time to review and consider where the stops are-

The Horse Race 1-15-20 SD 'S TSLA slips back +4.7% , (sold 1/3); IRA -AAPL -0.17% ; SPIDERMAN EXAS- -2.31%
SD's remaining 1/3 TSLA sold @ $520.00- AHH well- a net gain, and an opportunity to see if TSLA gives a deeper pullback - or gets to forge higher...

THE FINAL HORSE RACE : The LAST Horse Race 1-17-20 SD 'S TSLA takes a modest win +3.0%; IRA a close 2nd 2.27%, and Spiderman default -5.75 This is the Final Horse Race-LONG Past due to be put out to pasture perhaps, but it was kept alive (life support style) by those people that had shared a common interest and appreciated the somewhat intimate and non-trashing site that DG had developed. Thanks IRA for wanting to see it continue- and, Blygh and RD for keeping it alive. This site has been personally beneficial to me for all these years , as both a source of participation (Horse Race) , and an outlet to my periodic involvement and trading/investing evolution with the market- (and occasional writing in the strategies thread) . To IRA- Thank you! Last man Standing and participating-! To me that's a credit to the strength of your personal resolve!

Many thanks SD for your thousands of hours of contributing to this site.
It would have been gone long ago without your dedication to giving your knowledge to others for FREE. - ira

The Dow just logged its worst 2-day point slide in history. The S&P 500 has shed more than $1.7 trillion in value in the past two days
Hope everyone is holding up in this.

Cash is King right here my friend! I'm not chasing anything on the long side- other than a TLT position that I've had for a few weeks- and is net in the money - Since there is no way to determine which way this will play out, I'll err on being on the cautious side- and protect the capitol . Had Posted in the strategies thread- Chart is a good example : i.imgur.com/I7DpCRp.png For any visitors here, the Horse race thread is closed- There are occasional posts in the Investor strategies thread dgoriginal.proboards.com/thread/753/sd-2020-trading-tide?page=8
