I think the markets are dicey over the tariff issue more so than anything else. Of course Iran or Korea could make a big dent in the status quo.
Politically, I think the Dems are trying to out Left each other to be relevant to their liberal base- Biden is trying to show he has a conservative approach-
It will be tough for them to rally when the proof is in the pudding- Wages are up, unemployment is at historical decades lows, and the economy is alive and growing-
The energy boom is relevant, as well as those businesses that have been brought back
I see trucks with "we're hiring" signs - and radio ads- and plenty of new construction on-going-
Presently, I stopped out early last week and am now 25% long utilities and Tlt, considering that a larger % in cash may not be missing a lot for the time being.

I think having a big cash position and owning dividend payers is prudent. It is difficult to see what can drive the market higher. Investors have made a lot of money since the December low. The bulls get rich - the bears get rich - the hogs get slaughtered. I am looking for signs of life in South America, Africa and southeast Asia - I don't see any yet - I should have held on to last week's short of BIDU - down nearly 10 more on Monday. And I remember posting last winter that I wish I had the guts to short TESLA - no guts no glory . . . Its plummet renews my faith in economics as a science

TSLA has been in a whipsaw decline since the start of the year-Rallies with lower lows... Perhaps the fundamentals and Elon's arrogance with the SEC finally will take it's toll.

I like the way CME is trending higher- long , with a stop-loss @ 184.00- Despite the market's indecision....
Got to give thanks to all those that served so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have in this country!
Outstanding Memorial weekend taking the grandkids out on the lake for their 1st tube rides and enjoying the boat, the water, and the great weather !
