It certainly appears that the Risk is greater than the reward at the present time....Where is the catalyst to move us higher? Earnings???Already priced in? While the news seems bearish- Notice that the EEM is higher- Energy is moving up-VDE, Europe up-VEA all slightly. Notice that the SPLV is still trending up- While Tech XLK seems to be getting no love. Seems defensive- but my healthcare position stopped out...GLD trending higher...
Wed- Fed provided the Catalyst today! For how long we'll have to see!

Next week QTNT long
Congrats Spiderman!
Ouch! That tiny biotech (18 employees) bit me last week.
This week I'll go with something less speculative. Not risk off, but not a knife thrower's assistant. -ira

This should be a down week judging by history - CLF short stop 11.30 OC.
I sympathize with Ira - I own a handful of small biotechs that have become penny stocks. I keep waitinfh for the break-throughs.
No one has commented on my proposal that stops and limits may be placed with an "on the close" or an "on the open.' condition. I would like to formalize that as a rule there being no objection (to date) I am not sure what to do about Tiarra. She has not made an entry in 5 weeks. Should I continue to enter her last year's default pick?

I'll go with DMRC- Stop $19- moved up nicely Friday-up 6% - let's see if it has any juice left.... And, I've got to go with Brady- See if experience and-ahem- age- can outdo the young guy!
No objections from me re: the rules - But a question- clarify the On the open-or On the Close condition- Let's say I Buy XYZ at $12 and set a stop @ 10.00 with the "On the Close" condition - Price opens at $10.50 and mid day drops below $10 to $9.85, but Closes back higher at $11.00 Would I not be stopped out? I would assume that once a limit or a stop is touched by price, the order then activates- How would the conditions change this?
Tiarra may have different priorities these days- Life happens to all of us - I would think 5 weeks holding a dflt entry ACTIVE....is sufficient- I'll drop her a PM prompt. She can make a new entry anytime or, elect to continue with the dflt by logging in and noting it on the board-

Congrats Spiderman!
Hope I'm not too late with my entry... the lowest-scoring SB ever but I'm loving the results.
I'll go with SAVE "LONG" stop 58 and sell limit 65
