With 76% of the stocks in decline; and a 30:1 ratio of stocks hitting new lows, vs stocks hitting new highs (1274 vs 39) ; the downhill slalom continues!

Congrats once more Ira - bet you are glad to be out of cryptocurrencies -  In the absence of a Santa Claus rally, I guess it pays to stay short.  PBR short stop loss 58.

I tried to look up your horse, PBR, and found Petroleo Brasileiro - Petrobras trading at 13.40. Given your stop loss is 58 it looks like your pick is not Petroleo Brasileiro. You probably want to double check that symbol. -ira

Thanks Ira - I am not sure where I got that stop price - maybe it was the price in Brazilian  re-als???.   I guess I am stuck with it

After thinking about what could go wrong shorting MITK I realized the buyout offer could put a floor under the stock and limit downside action. And MITK could be holding out for a better offer. What if they get it? The stock price could jump much higher. So I'll canx the plan to short MITK (below)

MITK has an offer to be bought out for $11.50 a share. It closed down Friday at 10.41. Why is it trading a dollar a share below a buy out offer? All of the insider trading has been sales. And all of the insiders have sold at lower prices than the current price. I'm gambling the insiders think the current price is too high. Good luck all. -ira
