Yeaaaaah! Was wondering if I'd ever see that front side of the finish line Again !
Wish I had bought some TSLA- but didn't have any conviction -I have been buying some Vanguard ETF's this week though- and then a bit more as prices go back lower-
Keeping in mind thAt we could still drop substantially lower- but this recent decline is about average % historically - according to Carter Worth this pm. Of course- "Average" does not
eliminate the potential that "This Time" could be on the far side of the bell curve- another 2008 in the making? There hasn't been a big panic sell-off of magnitude- so I think I'm optimistically early- Europe, emerging mkts- US - and have some limit orders looking for another 10% down, flash sell-off.

Impressive call SD - Congrats - Tesla's valuation ($56B) still makes no sense to me (GM's market cap is $46B) , neither does Netflix's ($130B P/E 107)- next week- NFLX short stop loss 315 limit 270.

Congrats SD! Wow!! Great timing on that one! I'm short Tesla in the year long contest. I'm a skeptic about the boss being a super genius who can build cars, rocket ships, super trains, you name it, better than anyone else on the planet. I like blygh's observation on the value of Tesla and Netflix!
Let me recognize my opinion is worth exactly nothing. That said, it seems we are in a correction and we haven't seen the end of it. No real fear. Seems to me the downward move will continue until we have more fear. Like a one day drop of 2,000 points on the Dow. That would shake out a lot of weak hands and clear the way for a rally with some staying power. I think the correction will continue until we see some capitulation.
The problem of course is timing. How long will the gradual move down last before the panic hits? For me I'll sit on the sidelines and wait till I see it. The panic might hit this week. But I wouldn't bet on it. My plan, wait till the blow off selling hits, then buy and ride the ensuing rally. Treat it as a buying opportunity. I don't think the real bear will visit us till next year, maybe not till 2020.
