Note that each Renko box represents the ATR change of the average 2 hour period. ATR values are different for different stocks....
For example- If the last box represents a Close at $10.00 , and the ATR 2 hr value is $.25, and price goes up and closes at $7.49 in the 2 hr period, only 1 new box will be displayed.
Based on the ATR change within that time frame. Similarly, If price gaps up $2.00, (4 ATR values) but closes the 2 hr period up only $.49 - only 1 box is displayed because I have set the Chart with the "CLOSE" setting- This reduces the more volatile display .... If one wants to view the moves intraday By using the HI-LO- setting, all moves exceeding a 1 ATR value will be displayed.
To demonstrate the differences, I will include a 15 minute Renko chart with the HI-LO setting- Closing prices can be above or below the last box value recorded....

I just checked last week's picks to make sure what I asked for. I wanted PLSE short. Right now it hardly makes a difference, but that was my pick. -ira

Geez - I must be  starting to lose it - two weeks in a row of missing the "short" part of a pick.  Sorry about that

Spiderman hangs on to the lead - SD moves to second on a 2.4% rise - Ira chasing

i've been pleased with the steady uphill performance in the mining/minerals sector- They all are moving steadily, but i'll go for something more volatile- GBTC short at the FC please, with a stop at 960.00! I may modify this if i get back to a computer before the close. A quick look at the charts midday tells me that Spiderman is holding strong- but there's still 3 + hrs left.....
And my rationale for the trade is that I have no idea on what this is based on as a 'currency'- The moves in it appear to be just speculation- Also caught the Fast Money- one of the guys on there spoke about this and has no idea where it may go.....
The fact that it was dropping hard when I viewed it on Friday noon, made me think it could sell off much further-
I'm hoping to improve my overall net gain YTD and get back into the running-there- Of course, it could back fire and take me out with a move back up to my stop-loss!
