I don't care for small print either, and I keep wondering why they keep printing stuff smaller and smaller every year- must want to save ink!Shorting NFLX could be dangerous - upbeat future projections-particularly if the market rallies based on clarity in the election and the Hag in the bag with a likely win. I'm surprised that AMZN is not participating here.

If you want to avoid the small type --click on "reply" instead of "quick reply" - click on the FONT SIZE box - pick 4 or 5 - click "Preview" type your message - you may have to click FONT SIZE again and pick 4 or 5 - if the type comes out small - re: NFLX - stocks rarely go up four straight sessions - PE is 333.38 - 8% of the shares a shorted - trading volume is falling exponentially (although insider trading is 2 to 1 purchases to sales). I will keep an eye on it - I may short against a call

I know what you mean SD about the opening price of ITUB - there is inconsistency - The Wall ST Journal says it opened at 11.05 but Yahoo finance says 12.16 - I also had a "buy on open order" which was filled at 12.16- I thought we agreed that we would go with Yahoo pricing, so I did. Honesty has always been my downfall. You were right (at least for the moment) on Netflix upside - it still has a pricey P/E despite a 2 to 1 insider buy to sell share ratio. They would have to increase earnings by 16 times to get down to a P/E of 20. I do not see that happening. But what do I know? Next week KOL short.

Blygh - I have looked at several charting sites- Zacks, Big charts-Scottrade, IB and ITUB did not open anywheres near that level. I had a fill through IB on 100 ITUB 10.18 $11.27 as it moved higher above Monday's high $11.26 Since you had an actual Fill at the higher level- I can only question why that price level is not reflected on other charts? Was your trade an After Hours trade? i would think there was something odd that you would be filled so much higher than reflected at other sites, including trading sites.

Hey RD! Glad to have you onboard- ITCI looks more like an Amputation than a decline- A few new guidelines- No leveraged ETF's ,still stocks over $8 and -if you have the time-give your thoughts in a few words as to why you went with the trade- I would expect you would say it is seriously oversold! Thanks, SD

Welcome rd - SD, I checked my buy on ITUB and you are right - it was executed on 10/14 at 12.16 - so with your blessing I will modify the results to reflect an open of 11.05 - although Yahoo finance still shows a price above 12 for all of Monday (https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/ITUB?p=ITUB). Go figure

CHANGED MY MIND - KOL has too much momentum - the two hardest things to do in investing are 1) picking a bottom and 2) picking a top.
Instead - BEAV long stop 48.7 - limit 54

Question - DOG is a short ETF (shorts the Dow Jones Industrial Average ) - shorting a short is equivalent to buying long. I am going to assume Joe is a bear and just wants to be long DOG. Re: your picks - don't get discouraged - you have become my favorite contrary indicator. If you had just shorted everything you went long on, you would be up 40% . There is a lesson to be learned there. You are a good stock picker - you just have to work on your determination of the direction they move in.
