i TOOK THE LIBERTY OF ADDING SOME NOTATIONS -
clvs LAST WEEKS WINNER- SD HOPES THE RECENT UPWARDS MOMENTUM WILL CONTINUE-
CHECK OUT THE CHART- THIS IS OVERDUE FOR A PAUSE- BECAUSE UP MOMENTUM IS NOT THE "NORM-" uSUALLY, IT HAS BEEN A POP HIGHER, CONSOLIDATION, AND THEN ANOTHER POP HIGHER, CONSOLIDATION.
pURE MOMENTUM, WITH AN UPTRENDING EMA AND PRICE CLOSING ABOVE IT- IT WORKS UNTIL IT DOES NOT.

wHILE THE PRIOR UP TREND BROKE DOWN, PRICE DECLINED BACK TO WHAT WAS A PRIOR SUPPORT LEVEL , AND HAS BOUNCED HIGHER-
FROM A TA POINT OF VIEW- PRICE MOVING HIGHER FROM A PRIOR SUPPORT SUGGESTS THAT VALUE BUYERS ARE STEPPING IN . 1ST TIME REVERSALS IN A DECLINE OFTEN ARE NOT THE BOTTOM-
tHE PREMISE THERE IS THAT A V SHARP REVERSAL HIGHER IS NOT OFTEN THE CASE- . NOW THAT A BOTTOM AT A PRIOR SUPPORT HAS BEEN MADE, A BOUNCE HIGHER HAS BEEN IN ORDER, AND NOW A RETEST BACK LOWER SHOULD NOT GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE PRIOR LOWS -IF A REVERSAL IS TO SUCCEED.

ZYNE is an interesting stock - the analysts on the Fidelity site showed 2 Sells, 2 Under performs, 2 Neutrals, 1 Outperform and 2 Buys.  9% of the shares are shorted.  I did not see any news that might drive the stock higher although it is clearly trending higher -Its drug pipeline is scarcely of blockbuster import.   I wonder if there are takeover activities afoot.

I don't care what any analyst says about my selections. Most of them have no idea.
I look for potential breakouts, jump in and jump out. Never fall in love it's all about the profit.
Any profit is better than a loss. You fall in love you usually lose.

Sorry about the last post about the analysts.
I normally don't buy my picks for the week because they're very volatile.
I do read at what the analysts say and sometimes laugh at their predictions at the end of the week.
I just have an unorthodox system of choosing stocks.

Should be a very interesting week! I'm normally asleep by 9 pm, but will have to stay awake to watch the knock down debate tonight.

No offense taken Spiderman - I thought it was interesting that the so called experts were so evenly divided on ZYNE. How can big bucks analysts be so divided in their assessment? Are they looking at different data sets?? When I see a stock on the rise or fall, I want to see what the buyer/seller sees.  When I can't see it,  I suspect insider trading - purchase by a major financial institution or a buy out in the works.  I have held some really down biotechs for a long time awaiting a successful drug or a buy out. But  I think I have made the lion's share of my trading profits by shorting high flying biotechs.
