Congrats SD. Great race last week. I've been watching CLVS for about a month now. I had a toss up last week when I selected AQXP. I almost took CLVS instead of AQXP and would have had it because I placed my selection before you. When I saw you chose CLVS I bought both stocks at the end of the day on Monday. I sold both for a 10% gain on each. Thank you for helping me decide to buy CLVS. You got the win and I made some pretty good gains for a week. Good luck this week. Spiderman

Congratulations to you on buying both-
I'm holding several individual positions as well as XBI- I possibly should have sold last week and locked in some profits- I continue to look at the Finviz screener to narrow down the field, see what industry groups had momentum, and try to select from among the better movers-defined as holding above an uptrending ema. What source do you use to narrow the field? regards-

I use volatile stocks to narrow the field, make a list and then go to Big Charts to get additional info. The late Walt Davis aka Lobsterman and I traded for years using this method mostly trend lines and volume. I track them using TD Ameritrade watch list. I look at stocks above $10 and below $50 given a choice I'll take the one closest to $10 for the horse race. Took a look at XBI and it looks good!

Next week MYOK short -- stop at 19 limit at 14 - Thanks SD and Spiderman - I too bought CLVS and AQXP for short term trades and pocketed enough a nice weekend and a new smart phone. I am still holding CYBE too. The up coming week has me concerned. That "80% Fall" in the market ad is supposed to start on Sept 30. If enough naive people act on it, it could be a self-fulfilling prophecy. I am keeping an eye on gold miners - CDE, GFI, GDX (etf), NEM - if they bump up early - I will buy some - Folks may be remembering last year's Sept to Feb correction so there may be a sell-of. I am mainly long dividend payers - e.g. VZ, T, muni-bond funds and a couple of REITs.
