Hang in there Tiarra - we have all had bad runs of luck
Re SD - I have owned Coeur Mining before at 14 and took a bath down to 3.  Gold rises with inflation expectations and money devaluation. I did not see either but did see a down trend  the covering limit was set on the basis of CDE's volatility.

Really good call Blygh- I expect that holding that position that far into negative territory was an eye opener!
Move on over Tiarra, I'll share that corner! Started the week off great- but didn't last long and finally became a large actual loser!

SD that points out the value of stops and limits .And to Tiarra - betting a stock on a week it is going to report earnings is always dangerous.  Bad earnings -> price plummet.  If you still want to do it see if you can find a highly correlated stock that has already reported earnings.  There is also a theory that says a stock is less valuable when information becomes public.  Researchers lose their advantage when their proprietary information becomes public i.e.  avoid stocks the week they report unless you have insider information.

AMBA stop is at 73. They have earnings coming out Thursday. The good news is earnings stocks move a lot, the bad news is, you never know which way. They are great for option spread trading, but that is about the only safe method!
