NICE TO WIN this Christmas week! additionally, to think I am in the running for the most Weekly wins with IRA for the year is interesting-Because my pick has been my default pick- based on the prior years trending higher.
Who actually made the most gains for the year- Might be proof of more astute positioning. I don't know if that was tracked or not- but. there have been some sizable wins.Perhaps the Year's title should be who had accumulated the highest % total gains- and not necessarily who had the most winning trades.
It could be possible i also had the widest drawdown on those losing weeks- This would be an interesting way to evaluate a strategy.
I do not not know if this is feasible DG- But you can publish my win-loss ratio- and overall profitability- I would find it interesting to see if - although holding a winning position over 11 weeks- did my net gains exceed those weeks when my position was a less than top performer? I don't know if this information is simply easily extracted from the tracking spreadsheet- but i assume it is adding weekly gains vs losses.
Since most of my entries were based on a position closing out on Friday- and taking a new position on Monday- the trades did not reflect a weekend hold.
It is entirely possible that the most winning weeks results would underperform a trade that had Fewer-but larger gains when winning,
iT WOULD PROVE INTERESTING- IF IT IS NOT TOO MUCH TROUBLE-
To determine Who- the most profitable trader was based on% loss vs % gained. This may not go to who won the most # of weeks.

Nice going sd - health care is one of those industries with low elasticity of demand (people will pay whatever they have to to get it) and as such maintains pricing power (Eco. 101) so it is always a good bet. Next week LMT long

Congrats SD.
I'll ride JNUG long.
My approach this year has been reckless. I try to pick a volatile leveraged etf. That tends to result in home runs and strikeouts.
Good luck to all. Thanks dg! -ira
