I suspect that DG is without power this weekend , as the ice storm affected much of New England- I don't know who won the horse race- I had a good shot Friday am, but got thrown back as the market rallied despite the bad news .
I'll be trying to go long this week, will make a pick tomorrow.

DG's home town in NH made the Good Morning America news this am as some 800,000 people are without power and it may not be restored until this Thursday. I suspect Bankedout has a similar situation, as severe weather affected other areas as well.

I think you are right that dg got hit by the ice storm. So he is probably without heat as well. Hopefully his pipes won't freeze.

I'll go with FXI- It's a bet on China.
I went looking at weekly charts, and it's made a nice rebound as have many stocks and funds in the past 6 weeks.
I understand China is adjusting their rates and trying to maintain growth, all the while being affected by the US contagion.
On last week's gap-up, I think the indecisiveness of the big three plays overseas as well-
Here's the strategy- I think a short term bottom is in place for the markets, I think for the horse race, Fxi had gapped up and then formed an indecisive DOJI>
I think there is a potential for FXI to sell-off Monday to give a better starting gate price, and to respond to the president's bailout of the auto makers with a rally that will carry to Friday!
