I guess you weren't around when MSN was eliminating their free hosting sites. At that time the website went from over 200 members to about 10. Nice to have you back.
So make yourself at home and pretty much do what you want here. We still have the horse race; and if you'd like we can start up a food/recipe cooking section.

So I can tease Banker for picking a stock that trades with less than 3,000 vol for this week's horse race? LOL!
The good thing about having 10 members is there is a higher % of participation! Looking forward to entering the race for next week!

Yes, I was blonde. I decided to go the natural route!
Banker, with MEXS, I am too confused about your choice to tease you! I was hoping you had letters confused and your dyslexia was acting up LOL Some days that stock does not have ANY vol.

Banker, you would have to TRY to do worse~! LOL! Just kidding
SD, ETF's are very interesting. I hear brokers, like Charles Schwab, do not charge commission for them. I do not trade ETF's. I used to trade the Q's like mad. I loved the high volume. I used a method by Darlene Nelson Powell. I have her print outs on my computer. I might could email it to you for some ideas. It is rather outdated (2005-2006). I have thought about trading the VIX. But have been too shy to go beyond paper trading it. Right now I am focusing on option trading earnings. I managed to do very well with FOSL last week with my puts. For next week I am focused on SINA, EL, ANF and CRM. SINA has already moved so much I don't know if it will move much more.

Hi Tiarra, ETF's are very interesting. Please do-my e-mail is ksowter101@gmail. I'm always interested in learning about different trading methods- Particularly would like to find the method that prevents me from givng profits back to the market LOL! I have tried trading the vix with VIXY several times, and have been quickly stopped out - too tight an approach you may be interested in the vix etf's www.proshares.com/vix/?gclid=CM_LvriczaoCFSY75QodXBdBNA"Why Consider VIXY & VIXM? To act on a volatility view—For the first time, investors can access volatility exposure with ETFs, rather than an exchange traded note (ETN) that bears the credit risk of the note's issuer.1 As potential hedges—Since their inception in January 2009, the VIX® futures indexes have been negatively correlated to the S&P 500.®2" I've never traded options- If you'd care to share your options trading earnings approach, I'm sure that would be of great interest here. Never got my feet wet, think I always heard that you need to trade stocks well before trying options- so I've got some time yet! I think some other members have or do trade options. Sina -energy- Pronounced drop earlier -still well off recent highs EL, ANF retail, CRM business technology Are you trading earnings options on these? Or just trading the stocks as they seem to be trying to rally? Good Luck! SD

I tried to email you but received an error message concerning your email address. Is it correct?

NVM, just realized I needed to add ".net" to your email address. Anyway, I prefer trading options because it is cheaper and the % gains are better.
I got into SINA on Aug 8. The underlining price was 87.35. I bought Sep 90 Calls at 9.50 and Sep 85 Puts at 9.55
