Good luck! Jim. I, too, will be rooting for green today. (dagnabit!)
May the cheese be with you! (and the brats and the beer and someone special to share it with)
Next year, the PATS will rise again ... maybe.

It was a bittersweet victory for me. Before the season started I bet someone that claimed the Packers would win the super bowl. The odds makers had it at 9 to 1 so that is what I gave him. Now I have to mail him a check for $90
I'm not as big of a Packers fan as I used to be. The whole Favre ending with the team left me disappointed with how they managed it. Rodgers is a good quarterback, but not nearly as entertaining as Favre was.
My favorite QB to watch is Michael Vick. He is fun. When I watch Brady, I imagine him like a machine. It is interesting to see his style of play, but it is not as exciting as Vick's style. I was hoping it would have been Packers Patriots for this SB.
Don't worry, you will be back in contention next year, unless the players go on strike.

HA! At the beginning of the season I had predicted on another website that either MINN or GB would win the superbowl this time. I also predicted that the PATS would finish no better than 9-7. I too would have liked to have seen the game be between GB and the PATS. But quite frankly, after I saw how well GB played against the PATS in the regular season w/o their starting QB, I feared that the PATS might not win on their second meeting. GB is a solid team; whereas the PATS are rebuilding.
As to Vick, he is exciting to watch. But it is difficult to watch him without remembering what he did to so many innocent dogs.
As to players going on strike, I guess making millions of dollars per year isn't enough. If they do strike, I hope the fans punish them by not buying tickets. The way I see it, there is too much football on television now.
