Watching Lloyd Blankfein - CEO of GS - for the last hour or 2 this pm live being questioned by the Senate. I'm impressed - The testimony I have seen him give is honest, and sincere. At times he seems to struggle with educating the senators, but I believe he is succeeding . He is consistent in his defense of GS being able to both sell a long position and cover it by holding a short-. The Senate is pissed that GS shifted- all the while selling mortgage back securities from being long those securities to shifting to take the short side of those securities. In today's market sell-off, GS selling was minimal - Will likely rally with the market. -!!! SD

sd continues to lead, but blygh and ira are starting to challenge his weakened position! Racers are cautioned to watch out for dg as he attempts to clear what's left of his horse from the track. Best folks can tell, ODP suicide bombed itself.

Don't feel bad, - Had i taken the short side of my trades, I'm sure I'd have a few wins in there.....I'm glad to squeak this win out- It took 2 weeks for the market and my presumption to get aligned. - Week 1 it was shrugged off, and almost this week as well. I was ready to toss in my short seeing Blankfein handle himself so well with the senate witch hunt. However, the Greek bailout, the GS issue here, makes me think the financials will stay in trouble next week. And what about that ongoing oil spill with RIG and BP on the hook? Instead of continuing with GS this week, I want to short the bounce in a SA financial- BBD-
Good Luck ! SD

Great Win SD! It got scary there for a few days with that dead cat bounce off of 150 support. Friday’s tankage erased a few days of gains just like that.
I am going with GS short
