VVUS - a bio equipment co I have held for a while was up 10% on triple normal volume - 2 million shares insider buying over the last year - maybe worth a look. Blygh

EXAS (Exact Sciences) Spiderman's default pick is on a rapid rise since Dec 30 - I have also bought a basket of Canadian Banks (TD, BNS, RY, BMO) and URA (Uranium ETF) and CCJ (Nuclear Power plant stock)

I'm researching for the 2018 yearly portfolio. Checking performance of past suggestions here. January 12, 2017, nearly a year ago, blygh said EXAS was attractive and he bought some. It's up YTD nearly 300%. Give me a suggestion like that for the coming year! Great pick! -ira

A good point- EXAS has had a huge run up in 2017- but who is to say it will not continue to be an outperformer in 2018? Going back to 2016 at $10- this has been a huge outperformer- albeit with big drawdowns at times-of -40% - That would require a lot of conviction to stay on board during those declines! i think buying it here after this recent large decline would offer a good Risk to Reward- and it potentially goes on to make another 100-200% in 2018. Or is the run topped out? Today's price action looks compelling - For the entire next year?? I'm conflicted and will likely stick with sector ETF's -

Blygh recommended EXAS in early 2017 and it had a huge run up in 2017. up nearly 300%. How did it do after that?
It looks like EXAS continued it's winning ways, but a bit more moderately, gaining 21% in 2018 and 38% in 2019.
Great pick Blygh!! - ira
