Coffee is going up strongly now: Uranium stocks are still digesting the change of trend. Commodities in general are seeing huge buying interest lately. It is almost a throw the dart at the dartboard and you are guaranteed to hit a winner type scenario.

JO continues to rise at a strong pace: URA is waking up now: My best guess is that CORN should be next: I will put in a buy stop for 1 share of CORN to keep track of the move, as I did with JO & URA. Is anyone else trading these?

I bought URA February 13 at $16.04. I'm afraid to get JO now. I'll take a look at CORN. -ira

I am thinking about uranium stocks - but I have been burned a couple of times on CCJ -
I like CORN but DBA is my preferred play in the agri biz. Individual agri stocks I have owned successfully include TNH (recently sold), POT, SCCO, CF MON. EGPT is on an impressive rise as is PGAL
It looks like biotechs have topped out this week. Mortgage bond funds are looking positive and Fanny Mae (FNMA ) and Freddie Mac FMCC) are up 50% in the last two weeks Blygh

I bought CORN at $33.08 yesterday March 3rd, 2014 Yesterday was a long day and I didn't get a chance to look to see if CORN traded above my buy stop level.

Fannie and Freddie up another 25% this week (FNMA FMCC) - how far can they go? I cashed out at 4.50 +/- . One of my mantras - Take your profits and don't go back - of course that is what I said about TSLA at 80 (closed 250) and CMG at 180 now 550. I am making money on railroad equipment stocks. Buffet said that Canadian/American railroads are short 5000 tank cards. I am long TRN WAB ARII GBX and ARII.

On May 17 2010 I mentioned CASA as an interesting stock on this board. Today it doubled on a buyout offer. Patience once again proves its worth. PODD is at 50+. Blygh

I am purchasing a basket of European car makers Diamler (DDAIF), Volkswagon (VLKAY), Renault (RNSDF) and Porsche (POAHY). All up impressively in the last month and last year. I may buy FIAT too on the XE. GE is in disrepute as is Toyota. I don't know what the problem with Honda is but it does not seem to go anywhere (too strong Yen??) . Blygh

I haven't been watching my 3 tracking stocks very closely the past month or so. JO is struggling to move beyond an old high. CORN is still slowly trying to move upward. URA has fallen apart the last 5 weeks. I am going to remove my 1 share position on URA, and mark it as a loss.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (FNMA and FMCC) up 8% and 7% today -up 22% n the last month - I think they will survive as GSO's - and they have been very profitable - Uncle Sam made $25 billion on his $188 billion bailout. I am increasing small positions in both Blygh

You were smarter than me about URA. I didn't have an effective stop-loss strategy. I bought URA at $16.04. It closed today at $14.76. It turned up May 9 very near a previous low. I'll continue to hold for now and see if the May 9 low holds. -ira

CORN has fallen apart so I'm going to put in an order to sell my one tracking share. JO doesn't look too promising anymore either, but I will give it a little more room to wiggle still. I added a sell stop for JO set at $33.39
