Arthur Hill/stockcharts has some insightful articles on systematic trading-
A recent article backtested for 20 years a system using the RSI and Aroon indicator- with good backtested results-He also used a longer indicator time frame and some rules that made a trend be already underway and the exit seemed to give up a lot of gain- but the results for profits far exceeded the losing trade. Worth a read.
In my posted charts for the horse race- I have applied the Elder impulse signals to the charts- with stochastic and RSI- I may include the AROON in the future charts-
Will post a few charts of my interpretation of "Systematic trading" - in the strategies thread.
