I'll take ARKG this week.I will also add it as a speculative % in my retirement portfolio as it has wide exposure to genomic development.
I presently also hold ARKK-; ARKQ
GLD is really interesting here, as it pushed through a multi-year resistance level.

Absolutely correct this year- MAY turned out to be an across the board decline- but June sees the Rally....
i think it's a testament to not relying only on seasonality, but to be willing to take that trailing stop-loss and then a reeentry when conditions seem to favor- Otherwise- the broad proof is to exit in late March and reenter in late September- Of course, it is likely that the 1 or 2 years that don't follow that historical precedent are those years we try to initially rely on it-
As with all things in the market- it seems to hold true until it does not- just enough random variance due to external factors yet unseen to keep us- and the quants- on their toes. perhaps that is the best message of the markets- that randomness does and will occur- from any of a number of factor influences- and no outcome can be predicated based alone on broad seasonal trends.
While May was indeed a decline- if one exited then, would they have reentered and been brought back to the prior high?
i took a paper loss off the highs with tight stops, took a partial reentry a few weeks ago- grinding a bit higher -but didn't go all-in Managing to net $Gain in the process But not trying to do this on a daily review-- Tried for some GLD today @ 131- gapped over the limit order- Also buying ARKF today- as a financial play- $22.70 entry

Sorry guys  - getting the daily tote board posted has become a problem.  I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's and the tremors make it difficult to key-board.  I have been doing the horse race for three years - this is my final week.  Hopefully I can finish this week's and the second quarter long term results.   If someone wants to do the daily (or weekly) update I will be glad to help with the formatting.

Oh my gosh Blygh! I'm so very sorry to hear about your condition! I likely speak for all the members to say a resounding Thank You! for all these weeks/months/years you have kept updating the Race since DG passed.
Hopefully another member will take over the chore of the daily updating, and you will continue to be active in the Horse Race- The horse Race has been something of a long term tradition (10 + years) -in this day and age that's quite unusual I think.
I personally cannot undertake the task you have done so well, so hopefully one of the remaining members can step in and take that over.
over the years I have appreciated your efforts, and even-handedness during those times of discourse- as well as you sharing your market insights.
I wish you the very best as you combat this disease- and my prayers are with you- SD

Blygh,
I’m deeply sorry to hear this, and I second what SD said about all your countless hours that you have dedicated to this message board throughout the years. It’s greatly appreciated and won’t ever be forgotten. This message board should have been out of commission some years back but people like you stepped up and kept it going.
I’m working on excel sheets as of the other day and new format in a way to post with graphics I created.
I can’t speak for others but I feel you need to focus on your health and join in when can regarding the horse-races, and not have to worry about the crazy calculations and or having to post everyday.

I wish you nothing but the best, and my prayers are with you.
