Yes there's a lot of red ink here. But I just added up the red ink numbers below mine. All six of those add up to 15.01. At 17.7 I've spilled more red ink than everyone else combined. The market teaches humility. Sometimes the lessons are expensive. -ira

Ira still leads despite a major hit this week .  Real Deal moves into second place with a near 20% gain.  SD got into the red as RD and Tiarra get into the black

Thanks all and kudos to Tiarra. I actually owned PRTK in real life, got greedy changed my sell order from 12, to 13, ahh... took a less of a profit.

I will go with NTAP (short) stop 87.

I'll take ALT with a Buy-stop entry at $8.00- should it get up to that point- or however we agreed to manage picks that are below the $8 min.
Note that it was extremely volatile a few weeks ago- hit $35.00 intraday and came crashing back.

Congrats RD and Tiarra!

Now what? Expensive, high flying speculations like I've been picking usually get clobbered when the market turns risk averse. I haven't been finding many of my old favorites doing well lately. Could we be at a turning point? Would it be better to go short or at least make a more low risk pick?

On the other hand my pick went up last Thursday while QQQ and IBB both went down. As badly as CSBR did for the week, it bucked the trend and showed some strength while peers went down Thursday. It mirrored the market Friday. So does CSBR have enough strength to warrant a pick? I don't think so. If the market continues to correct I think CSBR will be like other momentum speculations and will sell off. If the correction is over, then CSBR might return to high flyer status. So I think it's a market call this week and the correction probably has some more to go. So I'll short the biotech sector where most of my picks come from. -ira

CONGRATS RD AND TIARRA  -  Well what to do this week?  What to do? What to do?  Automotive stocks have been weak  - I think-  because the Trump tax cut is not being channelled into the sector and rising interest rates (don't fight the Fed) - Delphi automotive - a stock I own -has gone from 55 to 30  - even though the Fidelity consensus rated it a 9 now down to 7.  Looking through the list of falling automotive stocks - ABG looks weak - ABG short - stop loss 69.
