SD takes a commanding lead out of the gate - not sure how to evaluate Tiarra's pony. It opened below her stop - is that just the equivalent of being scratched and hence no loss - or - it is like buying it at 165.00 and selling it immediately 164.65 for a $0.35 loss?? Thoughts??? I think that in the past we considered it a scratch.

I think what occurred in the past- executed at the stop price- but the reality is that it would have executed at the gap down lower price-If we wanted to be really "correct" - reflecting the real world condition- the stop would execute at the open price if below the Stop price.
That would be the the actual execution- below the stop price-
I apologize- Family obligations kept me up WAAAY past the witching hour- so I cannot get the charts uploaded tonight- 2 hours past my taps call.

Next week: SPY short again
Congrats RD. Great pick to have a big winner in a week with very few winners.
As blygh noted, a lot of red ink out there. I'll stay in capital preservation mode. I don't have a lot of confidence next week will be down. We could see a little rally. But it seems there is more potential for the next big move to be down than up. The rallies seem to be on light volume and selling is on bigger volume (seems to me) I'd rather have a little fractional gain like this week, than risk a big loss on a high momentum, speculative stock. -ira
