I'd like to put in a stop on my RIOT short @ $27.00 . I had really anticipated that this would get sold off hard-
It was again mentioned last week on CNBC's fast money as very questionable as a true bitcoin play-I think it stays afloat only because it has "Blockchain" as part of it's name- and it's draw.
Comparing the recent sell-off in Bitcoin in December, GBTC has rallied some this past week, while RIOT has declined some in the same period- RIOT is still technically in an uptrend and has not broken - A $27 stop is "tight" to the present consolidation.

I WILL stay Short RIOT at the FC with a stop at $23.30
The price action this week also mimic GBTC chart wise- As GBTC has sold off, Riot also has broken the recent support lows and closed below-
I was expecting Riot to Sell-off on it's own lack of merit.
Entering this a day early as time may not allow later.

My tighten stop approach on an initial weakness with the intent to repurchase at a lower cost is flipped- have to chase it on a higher entry-
Edit-
Almost have no choice except to go sit on the sidelines because the conventional wisdom of "Wait for the Pullback" may be over the present horizon-
That would be the conventional wisdom. However, I prefer to reengage, and still use stops on weakness-particularly on anything leveraged.
Market can seem to ignore all negatives when it chooses to- and maybe Twitter as well.
