I was traveling this weekend. Saw a little CNBC on Friday. I thought I'd ride RIOT if it was available when I got home Sunday. The early bird catches the worm here. It looked like RIOT was up 90% in the past 2 trading days. I hope SD is strapped in. Looks like this could be a shot to the moon. Good Luck SD! -ira

As a Horse race pick, it could go way up, way down, and the volatility could simply whipsaw me- but I wanted to put in a stop-loss on the Race-
As for my actual lottery pick position- I'll bring in a stop to cover my entry- and see where this may go-
OSTK also has exposure to bitcoin- And RD's pick this week!
I think a lot of people will lose a lot of money when the music stops and the Band takes a break for bitcoin/crypto currencies.

Guy on CNBC-  Novogratz of Galaxy Investments - he had called bit-coin $10,000 now says  bit-coin   could hit $40K by the end of 2018 - There is nothing like hyping your own assets

Very Right Blygh- Anyone hyping these crypto currencies is protecting their own ASSets/investment.
I debated taking on the Risk for the horse race, thought for sure it would have 1 more day to move higher- I saw it in after hours at $28.00 on friday-might have caught my target limit- Geez~! Also got hit on SQ today with real $$$- and stopped out .
Good for RD to have ended up on the Plus side!

I have been asking myself the question, Why would anyone pay thousands of dollars for a Bit Coin.  It is an old saw that "Bad money drives out good."  People spend the bad money as quickly as possible since bad money is a poor repository of value (it does not hold its value).  People save the good money because it is a good repository of value.  Traditionally gold has been a good repository of value.
It is hard to see why Bit Coin would be a good repository of value.  Perhaps people expect the dollar to be bad money - hmmmmm - if so, why are not the yen, the euro and the pound rising against the dollar?  I watched this and found it thought provoking in terms of raising questions -

I guess I am worried about a dollar collapse - maybe the Chinese are using their dollars to buy Bit-Coin

SD, no real money yet with any bitcoin/related stocks. I was watching most of the day SRAX and TEUM... I canceled two orders with TEUM watching on the 5 min chart. I had to buy way too many shares and too much resistance in the way, so I just went for a much needed walk. I know how you feel with SQ, My WDC +3 profit gone, due to a d**n downgrade as well and AMP out at breakeven today.

Keep your head up brother, we live to fight another day!

If you gave me a choice tomorrow between a gold bar or bitcon, I wouldn't hesitate and take that gold bar or even gold coin. Gold is tangible unlike all those Fiat currencies you mentioned. SD can tell you as long as he knows me I been worried about a $USD collapse. I was expecting some epic meltdown when the dollar broke a key support of 79 or was it 80 some year back. I own some gold/silver "coins/bars" since the early 2000's but you can't eat it.
