Was recently launched Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences ETF (HMMJ) the "smoking" security you were considering? I read that it only trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange. With its product illegal to own or possess in any state by federal law, I'd be wary of buying the security. As an investor you might be considered a part owner of the business. I'd be concerned the owners might be named part of a conspiracy to grow and distribute. Call me paranoid, but I'd steer clear until it was proven to be legal to own this security.

Of course the horse race is another matter. As a Canadian security trading on the Toronto Exchange, does it qualify for the horse race? -ira

 SD opens a tremendous lead with Ira chasing - Blygh gets pinched in a short squeeze

Thank You Mr. Market! EXAS recently had a nice run - Spiderman's default-pick - The recent slight pullback is a positive Flag formation- and a trend continuation could occur-
viewing this on a 2 hr chart- I like the potential Reward to Risk - The entry set-up is to go with a Buy-Stop entry- textbook is just above today's high, but i might take a lower stop
than the chart indicates. I Always use a limit combined with the Buy-stop order-- I'm allowing some room for price to potentially gap above today's close-
for the stop-loss, I'll set it fairly wide at the swing low bar- With price volatility, the wider stop is still within an acceptable % downside from my entry -should it be hit-
While i hope this would move directly in my favor, the Buy stop ensures that it reaches my stop price to become a market Buy order. The wider stop is below the prior low, so today's upmove will use the low of a sell day . Also a positive seen on the 2 hr chart- the prior 2 days price had opened and declined, but closed the day higher. NO Guarantees! Happy Friday!

Sometimes they are intertwined together-but balanced overall...Sometimes not so much...it seems.
