Good morning Blygh,
I believe I won this weeks race but my YTD 1st place wins did not increase. My 2nd place wins increased by 1.
IRA's 1st place wins went up but he came in third. Can you check it?

Here is how I figured it - at the end of week 42 you were down 29.693% which means your stake was at
1-0.29693 = .700307 going into week 43
In week 43 you were up 10.61 % - so your stake increased by 1.1061 X .700307 = 0.77461 which left you down .2254 or off 22.54% in week 44 you were up 1.36% which increased your stake by (1.0136 X 0.77461 = 0.78514 ) which leaves you down (1-.78514 =.214855) or down 21.49%) - small rounding error of 7 one thousandths of a percent.
If anyone sees an error please let me know

You are right about the first place wins - I increased Ira's first place wins 8->9 instead of yours - corrected now - Sorry about that I think I will post the previous weeks YTD spread sheet above the new one for easy comparison

Congrats! Spiderman  Blygh after doing some searching, and even downloading a excel sheet, I received errors, and all the reading I did the historical data downloaded from yahoo has been discontinued. Since earnings are Monday and SWCH won't stay down... this week... I'll go long SWCH -rd |

Hi Blygh,
Thanks for making the change. I know I'm getting killed on YTD % but I'm not concerned with it.
I play very volatile stocks for my weekly picks in hopes I can hit a big up week and win the week.

I'll try to play it safe and stay on PYPL, long. Positive article in Barron's today on Pay Pal. I hope it doesn't open with a big gap up.
Picking PBYI long or short just a day after it got clobbered (-19% Friday) takes nerves of steel. Good luck blygh!
