Congrats Spidey.
Long again DWTI.
With a 23% one week loss, I wish I had hit some different letters. But I'll ride this horse again on the chance I wasn't wrong, just early.
Joe, I think the Japanese rate move will be a short term positive for us. It will raise hope that the fed will need to change course and return to a more stimulative course. But take that with a grain of salt. Notice my 23% one week loss as an indicator of my market savy. -ira

Re Joe's question about Japanese negative interest rates. Good or bad ? It is good for some and bad for others. Most industrial companies borrow capital - buy materials - process them to end products and sell for a a profit and repay loan. Borrowing costs are a cost for doing business. Bond buyers make more money when interest rates rise and less when they fall - stock buyers make more when interest rates fall as the costs of doing business fall. Re: Japan Toyota (TM) will have a higher profit margin with negative interest rates. If you believe that the market sets the selling price, then profits are a function of production costs. I would expect big Japanese exporters to do better - TM, HMC, KYO, SNE etc..
